THE WOMEN FROM DOWN UNDER GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Marie and Ginny from View from the Pews( see my sidebar) blog get it. They are devout Catholics and staunch Pro-Lifers. They understand the current American political arena, and know what is at stake in this upcoming election. However, Marie is not American but an Australian( Ginny I am not sure what nationality you are -Sorry!) yet they know our country better than many Americans.
Marie's most recent comment on Sister Marie Lorraine Trouve's blog was quite profound;
She said:
"As I understand it (I am not American) unless a Pro-Life President is
able to replace Supreme Court Judges who support abortion with those
who do NOT support it. Then Roe V Wade is here to stay.
If you
vote for politicians who advocate for abortion..You are participating
in death...Because as each Supreme Court Judge is replaced with yet
another PRO-DEATH Judge then nothing will change.:(. How very sad:(.
In
order for REAL change surely it is wise and prudent to VOTE for those
who are PRO-Life and will hopefully if a vacancy were to occur put in
place PRO-Life Judges".
Thank you Marie and Ginny for your wisdom and courage to speak the truth.
Ginny also has an AWESOME post on Sarah Palin here.
There is also a another great article on Palin by Pat Buchanan here.
For a better understanding of LIFE issues between the two candidates go here.
To my Visitors:
I am a devout Catholic who believes in the Sanctity of Life. Abortion; the taking a life of an unborn child is a horrific evil. I WILL vote for the Presidential candidate that is the most pro-life of the two parties. I will not vote for a Vice-Presidential candidate because he or she is Catholic or because they carry a rosary in their pocket. Now, if they actually were praying the rosary I might have more respect for that candidate. They would see the Life issue differently given the special guidance of our Heavenly Mother.
This is my blog, and I will decide what to publish or not. If you think that the Daily Grotto is a place where you can vent your anger against the Catholic Church or the Republican party you are mistaken. Your comments are immediately deleted. There are many other places that will be willing to here your pleas for help. Try websites or blogs that promote liberal Catholic ideology or "Clown Masses'. I am sure that if you were to post your comments on liberal media websites or blogs they would be published in a heartbeat.
If you are sincere and open about growing in your Catholic Faith, are interested in becoming Catholic or just want a better understanding of the Catholic Faith then go here.
To all of you that have been reading and visiting my blog this past year. I thank you. Thank you for your respectful and loving comments ( If they were published then you know who you are). You have helped me to grow in my faith and to become a better Christian.
As Kim Burke from Our God is an Awesome God Blog gently reminds us " Have you prayed your Rosary today"?
Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of
the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.

And abortion is a foundational issue, a human rights issue. We are not talking about the Federal budget or housing, it's human life. Whether we agree with abortion or not, it is natural law that life begins at conception. Abortion is ending life, human life.
I can't remember at which blog I read this but I liked the analogy they made referencing Federally protected wild life and abortion - it is against the law at any point in it's development to eat a bald eagle egg......food for thought. ;0
Anyway, as a Christian, it is the teaching of Christ that we must follow, so there is no point in debate. We must be obedient in order to live through Him, otherwise we are living for ourselves. If we are going to do that, we may as well be an Atheist. I wouldn't expect anything but Christian truths at Kathleen's blog.
Why anyone would spend their energy defending the right to kill is beyond my comprehension. There are so many other issues that need support, issues that involve good works to make this world a more loving and healthy place.
Keep us the good work! Your blog is a source of accurate teachings of the Catholic church which does not confuse.

What more is there to say except "Amen! Again I say, Amen!" Whatever I would add would only be redundant! Thank you for the love you emanate and share!
